Internet Speed test? (link below) Is that good connection?

http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ this test gave me 16027 kbps download speed and 873 kbps upload speed is that good? In this test i chose Dallas, TX which is pretty far from south tip of Texas where i live. UPDATE: Here is this link testing my connection much closer where i live. http://www.speedtest.net/result/384151004.png Is my last result good or bad? Just wonder if its good for online play i seem to lag on PS3 i dont know why

1. That's an excellent result. Around 16 meg down and more than half a meg up. My download speed is about half that and it's pretty good.

3. so when you blink the web page is up, yes that is fast if it was a true reading but alast it is a con.... why? what 4 gig file did it up load I tested it and my computer is locked to out going files through my fire wall and downloads until I open up my ports to except downloads It's a con nothing less so that you will buy their service
4. speakeasy.net is not a good indicator as its testing is not very accurate. a more reliable test of your true upstread/downstream can be found at testmy.net... i would suggest using their SmarTest as it will "conform" itself to your bandwidth...this gives much more accurate results. Your last test is going to probably be closer to your true bandwidth. So, McAllen? Ex-Laredo-ian? here. BTW, Texas is no fun.
