6. The first guy is right. But the easiest way is to go to your ISP's website (Internet Service Provider) mine is internode.on.net just go to the website and log into your account and look up current service plan and it will tell you the speed my speed is 1500kbpsdownload/256kbps upload
7. just Down load DU meter form www.dumeter.com and run the exe. then you can see what speed is upload and download is on your system by per sec. 2nd way is just start a download and see how many KB it is showing then multiply it with 8 that will be your running speed.
