How do I hook a second computer to my existing cable high speed internet?
I am not going wireless, I have a new router and 50' ethernet cable,..but the other computer will not connect to the internet? Why and how can I fix it?

- follow the directions on how/when to hook up and turn on power to all devices in the corrrect order. That way each device will be reccognized and you should be all set.
- for just 2 PCs you dont need router......just make sure you have Ethernet cards on both pc and u need a single Ethernet (UTP Cat-5) Cross Over cable....just connect both Ethernet cards via cable and you have to run the home/office network wizard on both pc. hope it will help u
- This is quite normal at first if you're using a Cable connection. Your router is looking for the original computer that's why it's not connecting. I would like to know the brand of your router. So I can give you instructions on how to set it up. If you have time you can try to call up the manufacturer of your router as well.
