Is there any vista sidebar gadget out there that lets you test your internet speed but is free?

1. Don't bother. www.speedtest.net will give you very accurate results if you are not downloading anything or using your bandwidth. I wouldn't think any of those gadget's would be accurate. Alex

3. I don't know any Vista sidebar gadgets- but you can go to a website called Speakeasy. Just type it in Google and it should pop up- you can test your connection speed for free and it's pretty accurate. I use it a lot if I think my connection is bad- that way I know if it's my system or the game servers when I'm having trouble gaming. It's also a good way to be sure my ISP is actually giving me the high-speed connection I'm paying for. Good luck!
