- For your use, they are the same. High speed internet is just a broader term used for cable/dsl/fiber connections.
- their exactly the same but totally different
- You will need to purchase yourself a Wireless Router.. this is so that you can have Wireless Internet; meaning you want have to connect any phone lines, etc... to your laptop. However you will need a WIRELESS Adapter for receiving wireless signals (more than likely it is one already installed internally to your laptop) You will STILL need an INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER (ISP) - this is who you pay for your Internet Services. High Speed Internet and Cable are basically the Same. The Speeds that they offer is what makes the difference. You should get no less than a 1.5MB Speed. So.. simply put... You pay your bill to the ISP. The provide internet service to your home. The internet service will then run to the Wireless Router. Then your Laptop will receive Wireless Internet from your Wireless Router.
